This brilliant philodendron is a great addition to any garden or well lit indoor space as they are happy to grow in partial or full shade. They are extremely hardy and lush making them a great no nonsense plant that provides that tropical vibe. This variety is ‘self heading’ meaning it does not climb or scramble like other some other philodendrons. They can grow up to 1.5 metres tall!
To care for your philodendron allow the soil to dry out between waterings particularly in Winter. During warmer periods check the soil by digging your finger into the first inch to check for moisture. If dry give them a good soak. To maximize growth fertilize your plant during Spring and Summer.
If your philo is receiving too much light the leaves will begin to yellow. Be sure to keep it in a well lit area but avoid too much direct light.
