Heartleaf Philodendron is a very easy plant to care for and will reward you with its amazing form that be a climber or simply hang from the pot. To maximize growth make sure it is in well lit area but not receiving direct sunlight. Leaves will yellow and die off if there is too much light.
To keep your plant looking lush and full, you may need to occasionally pinch off the tips of some of the vines. By doing this the plant will be encouraged to become bushier.
Be sure to allow the top two inches of soil to dry out between watering your plant. They do not like to be in soggy soil as this will cause root rot. Check the soils moisture by digging your finger into the top layer. If your ivy is getting too much water the leaves will yellow and die off.
